Crazy change all over again!

Although, I loved Korea and I had the time of my life. It was time to leave. I never felt so sad leaving a country ever before. Actually, I cried on the airplane and the nice guy next to me felt obliged to talk to me and cheer me up....My last week in Seoul was a blur of meeting old friends, partying, meeting new friends, partying, shopping, sneak fan-girl attacking the EatYourKimchi Studios, my first K-pop Concert, Iron Man 3, Karaoke and more partying. A lot of the sights I did not visit because I was busy organizing my life after Korea and meeting all kinds of people.I didn't necessarily want to leave but I had to.

In mid-March I got accepted for an internship with the German Embassy in Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic) in the Caribbean. Something I always wanted to do since I started studying. It is more or less the other part of the world, completely different culture, way of life and climate. After I spend a surprise visit to the folks in O-town (Germany) and bombing my cousins 18th birthday party I took off again: this time to the island apparently Columbus discovered first when he was on his way to America.

I still find myself listening to cheesy K-pop songs in the morning when I go to work or accidentally saying 'kamsahamnida' (thank you) at some occasions. The fact is I miss my Korean life dearly but I have to adjust to my new life here now. I will live in paradise for 3 months so I will keep you posted about political Issues in central America and the Caribbean, Travel Adventures and daily obscurities and the most beautiful beaches.
